By submitting information through the California Transparency Project ("CTP"), you acknowledge and agree that CTP may, at its sole discretion, review, investigate, organize, publish, or submit your information to appropriate local, state, or federal agencies, regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, media organizations, or other entities when deemed appropriate and consistent with applicable law.

Submission of information does not obligate CTP to investigate, pursue, publish, or report any matter.

 

All decisions regarding the use or disposition of submitted information remain solely within the discretion of CTP.

 

If submitted information results in a monetary award or compensation through an applicable government whistleblower or reward program-including, but not limited to, the False Claims Act, IRS Whistleblower Program, FinCEN, CFTC Whistleblower Program, SEC Whistleblower Program, or similar federal or state programs-the submitter agrees, to the extent permitted by applicable law and program rules, that any compensation recovered through the efforts of CTP shall be allocated

60% to the California Transparency Project and 40% to the original submitter, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

To be eligible to receive any compensation, the submitter must provide and maintain sufficient contact information for CTP to reasonably identify and communicate with them. If a report is submitted anonymously, or if the submitter cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts, any portion of compensation that would otherwise be payable to the submitter may be forfeited, and the California Transparency Project shall have no obligation to locate or identify the anonymous

individual.
